IV4 awarded grant money for training

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse IT consulting company have gotten nearly $50,000 to move forward with training employees.

IV4 Corporation was awarded the money by the Central New York Regional Economic Development Council. It will be used to train 21 workers to install, configure and troubleshoot computer and networking hardware at the company.

The goal is to increase efficiency of company operations with the potential to create several new jobs.

The funding is just a portion of $175,000 in training grant awarded to CNY companies.
