ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Vienna Fire Department was busy cleaning up after a truck full of logs rolled over on Vienna Road around 3 p.m.

State Police say they believe the driver of the truck was going too fast around a curve. He apparently crossed into the other lane, drove onto a nearby lawn and took out a telephone box. The truck blew out a tire and the driver over-corrected, flipping the truck onto its side.

Police say no one was injured in the crash, but the driver could face some charges.

"The vehicle is going to be inspected tomorrow by our commercial vehicle enforcement unit. There seem to be some equipment issues with it that we could see. They're going to do a thorough inspection. Tickets are pending at this point," Sgt. Tom Haumann said.

Verizon has been notified about the telephone box. Service is expected to be returned to the area by Tuesday.
