CORTLAND, N.Y. -- A Cortland man is in critical condition following an assault.

Police say Robert Miller, 25, was found unconscious and unresponsive on the sidewalk on Main Street near West Court Street a little after 12:30 Saturday morning. Miller was taken to the Cortland Regional Medical Center and transferred to Upstate University Hospital with a head injury.
