SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A car crashed into a house Tuesday on Duane Street in the City of Syracuse, bringing down the entire front porch.

Crews were on scene within minutes, after hearing that there may be someone trapped beneath the structure, but they say that report turned out to be false. Medics did check out a couple of people, but there were no injuries reported.

Firefighters say they had to secure the porch before they were able to get the car out. They're still investigating why it went off the road in the first place.
