SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police are investigating an armed robbery. It happened at about 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Diamond Market on Court Street.

A man entered the store with a bandana over his face, displaying a handgun. He went behind the counter and demanded money from the store clerk.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes before fleeing the store on foot.

No one was injured.
