DERUYTER, N.Y. -- State Police say a four-year-old Amish girl is dead after being hit by a vehicle in Madison County.

Officers say Martha MIller was hit on Dugway Road around 6 p.m. Friday in DeRuyter. It appears as though Miller ran across the road and into the path of the car.

No tickets are being issued at this time.
