SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Chiefs spilt a doubleheader with the Bisons Monday night as Mets' top prospect Zack Wheeler made his debut with Triple-A Buffalo. Wheeler pitched the first game, going 4 2/3 innings, giving up two runs and striking out seven. He left with a lead but the Chiefs came back to win 5-3.
Buffalo came back with a 4-3 win the nightcap. The Bisons got all the offense they need on a Matt Den Dekker grand slam in the second inning.
