Man sentenced for burglary and public lewdness

CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A man known for flashing children throughout Central and Northern New York got a dozen years in prison. Paul Goodrell of Canandaigua exposed himself to two teens in Auburn in 2010, then appeared naked at Auburn High School.

He was convicted of two counts of burglary in the third degree, a sexually motivated felony, along with public lewdness and endangering the welfare of a child. He will serve 12 years in prison, with an additional 15 years of post-release supervision. He will be required to register as a sex offender once released.

Goodrell is also facing more than $6,000 in fines.
