SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Fans flocked to the Carrier Dome on the SU Hill for the university's annual Fan Fest Friday.

The event gave fans the chance to watch the final helmets and shorts practice by the men's football team.

After the game, players came out to give autographs and free posters and schedule cards were also handed out.

Fans say the fest is a favorite.

"For them to do something like this for the fans and to do it for nothing, it's a great thing for the community," said Garth Lee.

The team will kick off its season with its first game on September 1st.
