HERKIMER COUNTY, NY. -- The suspect in a high speed chase that killed an innocent woman is now facing several additional charges including manslaughter.
Daniel Conklin, 24, was indicted by a Herkimer County Grand Jury on Monday. He's accused of leading police on the chase back on May 24th, where he collided with another car in the town of Schuyler.
Gail Pietruska, 65, of Frankfort, died in the crash.
Troopers say at the time, Conklin's license was suspended. He also allegedly threw a pregnant passenger out of his vehicle before taking off.
He's now being held in the Herkimer County Jail.
