CORTLAND, N.Y. -- About 1,000 fans came out to SUNY Cortland Tuesday morning for one of the last opportunities to see Gang Green play. The team seemed to be in high spirits as the first and second team’s offenses ran their red zone plays.
Fans say they’ve enjoyed the whole camp, from watching practices to hanging out in the fan zone. Tuesday was also high-profile quarterback Tim Tebow’s 25th birthday.
"Just in general it's fun to be here to see the whole process, just to see him. I mean I'm not a Jets fan, I'm a Tebow fan, so we're kind of following him around. It was actually my birthday a few days ago, and I tried to get up here so I could be here for my birthday, but I'd rather be here on his birthday, maybe that is some incentive for him to sign autographs if we're all chanting 'happy birthday'," said Jordan Fisher, a Tim Tebow fan.
And hopefully fans were able to get autographs, as the Jets have one more open-practice left on Wednesday morning.
