UTICA, N.Y. -- Arraignment for the former Oneida County legislator facing multiple DWI charges has been postponed. Ed Revere was due in court Tuesday after U.S. Marshals and Oneida County Sheriff’s deputies caught up with him in Georgia last month.

Revere, who was a county legislator in the late 1990s, had been on the run for several years.

The District Attorney's office says Revere violated probation and failed to appear in court after DWIs in 2005 and 2008.

Revere will now be arraigned on August 21st. He could serve up to eleven years in prison if convicted on the charges.
