SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It was a messy situation Monday morning on Ash Street in Syracuse.

Crews were called to clean up a hydraulic fluid spill after police said a garbage truck sprung a leak.

Ash Street was shut down between Salina and State streets. The Northbound side of State street was also closed from Ash to Division Streets.
