CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Cayuga County man has been found guilty of raping a three-year-old girl in 2010.

Robert Knapp was convicted of 11 counts of rape, criminal sexual act, aggravated sexual abuse, sexual abuse, and endangering the welfare of a child. Prosecutors said he sexually abused the three-year-old from September of 2010 until he was caught in October.

It was also alleged that Knapp sexually abused a four- and six-year-old in 2010, but because of testimonial issues and the two years between the abuse and the trial, the court could not charge him for the additional crimes.

Knapp was sentenced to up to 153 years in prison for the nine felony convictions, two years for the misdemeanor convictions and up to 20 years post-release supervision.
