SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A driver somehow walked away with only minor injuries after rolling his truck over on Erie Boulevard East.

Syracuse Police say the man in his 40s lost control and hit a utility pole near the Forman Avenue intersection. The force of the crash snapped the pole and flipped the vehicle on its side.

Police say the driver was hospitalized, but only as a precaution. He was ticketed with unsafe speed and unsafe lane change.
