NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Matt Nathanson is a singer-songwriter who combines folk and rock music, and he rocked Chevy Court on Friday night. In addition to singing, he plays electric and acoustic guitar. He has had five albums, and his platinum selling song, "Come on Get Higher".
That excitement continued at the grandstand on Friday night with county music superstar Keith Urban. The New Zealand-born, and Australian-raised country music singer headlined at the grandstand. He has received Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards, and an American Music Award. Urban has six studio records.
For Saturday's entertainment, Disney actress, singer, and songwriter Bridgit Mendler, will be performing at the Chevy Court Stage at 2:00 p.m. If you're looking for a little bit of blues, the J. Geils Band will hit the same stage at 8:00 p.m. For all of the rock fans out there, the Rockstar Energy Drink UPROAR Festival will be at the grandstand at 2:00 p.m.
