NY STATE FAIR -- As part of Dairy Day, the annual Open Holstein Show in the Coliseum showcases dairy cattle from across the state. Cows are judged on physical qualities including height, weight, overall build, and structure.
One dairy farmer from Lewis County has been part of the Holstein competition since she was a child. She takes pride in showing off her hard work.
"It's really about a blue ribbon and showing off farm pride. It's really like a dog show. Breeding the animals and developing them," said Molly Scoville, from Lowville.
