NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- You can't visit the fair on Dairy Day without stopping by the butter sculpture in the Dairy Products Building.

This year's sculpture is named "New York Goes for the Gold with Greek Yogurt." It features a cow wearing a toga and holding a New York state flag with two children running carrying torches and metals.

Jim Victor and his wife, Marie Pelton, transformed 800 pounds of butter into the artwork. We caught up with them to get their thoughts on the creation.

"Marie's design for the cow and the toga brought to mind the Statue of Liberty. You know, instead of holding up the torch, she's holding the New York State Flag, but it’s a nice kind of humorous fun thing," they said.
