NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- The sounds of jazz could be heard throughout Chevy Court as the Buddy Rich Big Band took the stage.

This is the first time in more than 25 years the band performed on stage.

The 15 piece band is actually a tribute band to Buddy Rich, who is considered one of the greatest drummers in history.

Monday, the concert was hosted by Buddy's daughter, Cathy Rich.
