SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- One of the world's more influential spiritual leaders is scheduled to speak on the Syracuse University campus.

His Holiness, the Dalai Lama will attend the school's two-day peace forum on Tuesday October 9th.

The Tibet-based leader will take part in a public talk for faculty and students, focusing on peace on the SU campus and within the Syracuse area community. The forum will also feature a festival-style concert with performances by Dave Matthews and emceed by Comedian Whoopi Goldberg.
