SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police are investigating a shooting on the 100 block of Truth Terrace.

Officers say Jerry Benton, 29, was shot in the lower back just before 9 p.m. Monday. He was taken to Upstate University Hospital with what appears to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no suspect information at this time.
