SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A fire rekindles at a vacant house in Syracuse. The original fire started Sunday evening on Lincoln Avenue. Crews were back on the scene early Tuesday morning.
They believe the flare up was caused by blown in insulation. The fire can burrow into it and smolder for several hours.
Crews were working to remove all insulation to prevent another rekindle. The cause of the initial fire is still under investigation.
