STEUBEN COUNTY, N.Y. -- One person is dead following a motorcycle crash in Steuben County. It happened around 12:40 a.m. Friday on State Route 352 near Bridge Road in East Corning.

State Police say a vehicle was driving through the intersection when two motorcycles hit the vehicle. They say both motorcycles were driving at a high speed and failed to stop for a red light.

The driver of the first motorcycle, Gregory Riff of Lindley, died at the scene. The driver of the second motorcycle, Scott Cornish of Corning, was taken to Robert Packard Hospital in Pennsylvania with extensive injuries.

The driver of the vehicle was not hurt.
