WESTMORELAND, N.Y. - Westmoreland has the most successful football program in Section III over the past six years with four sectional championships, but the Bulldogs will have to reload quickly for another run this season.
Westmoreland only returns three starters on offense, though one of them is the biggest key to its multiple-option attack: senior quarterback Zack Green. And while many of the starters are new they still got a lot of experience last year thanks to a number of blowouts that allowed them to play the majority of second halves.
The Bulldogs open the season Saturday at Bishop Grimes.
