LEE, N.Y. -- A Rome man is behind bars without bail on Sunday after authorities found him in possession of meth during a traffic stop in the town of Lee. Oneida County Sheriff's Deputies said they recognized the front seat passenger of the vehicle as Troy Henderson, 37, who has warrants out for his arrest. When the deputy called for backup, Henderson tried to flea, but he was taken into custody nearby.
During the arrest, officials found him to be in possession of more than one ounce of powder meth. Deputies also found meth in the front passenger compartment of the vehicle, which they say had just been made. They also found meth lab equipment, chemicals, and more than 20 ounces of liquid meth in the manufacture process in the trunk of the vehicle.
