FINGER LAKES -- Listen up Riesling lovers, the Finger Lakes Wine Alliance is launching a month-long series of events to debut the 2011 vintage Rieslings. A number of restaurants, wine shops, and wineries across the region will be holding tasting events to celebrate the new Riesling vintage.

The Finger Lakes are home to some of the best Riesling grapes in the world, thanks to the soil and climate conditions. This allows local wineries to produce award winning and internationally recognized Riesling wine.
