NEW YORK STATE FAIR -- Despite a large crowd Sunday at the fair, overall attendance has been down compared to the last few years, but you'd have to admit, some great weather has made it a very enjoyable year for everyone that has been able to make it out here.
From the rides to the exhibits, Monday will be your last chance here in 2012 to come and check out all there is to offer. Vendors are hoping that they can finish strong being that Labor Day usually leads to a strong fair turnout.
Officials say the fair is a great place to spend some time if you're looking for something to do.
Some people we spoke with believe the crowds have been down due to fewer acts performing in the Grandstand this year.
"We're thinking that's the reason we're down a little bit. But we're still doing okay. And we're hoping this Labor Day, it's the last chance for anybody to come and we're hoping for a big day Labor Day this year. The weather has been good, it’s been cooperating and we're excited about that," said John Emmi of Emmi’s Hots.
