SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Police are investigating a bank robbery in downtown Syracuse. They were called to the KeyBank on South Warren Street just before 9 a.m.
Investigators say a male suspect handed a note to a teller, demanding money and threatened to use a weapon. He then fled on foot with the cash, last seen running on Washington Street toward Montgomery Street.
He is described as being in his 40s, over six feet tall, carrying a dark colored backpack with a Syracuse University emblem.
