SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Residents on Syracuse's north side are one step closer to getting a grocery store to replace the Pond Street Wegmans.
Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner says the Syracuse Industrial Development Agency will soon vote on tax incentives for Tops and the site developer, Morgan Management. Both the store and the developer are looking for a number of tax breaks, which SIDA will discuss during a public hearing.
That hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Thursday at the Common Council Chambers, followed by a vote on the matter.
