ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- An Oneida County man has been accused of sexually abusing a child.

According to the Oneida County Child Advocacy Center, Dwayne Kirk, 45, of Western, was arrested this week and charged with first degree sex abuse.

Kirk was taken to the Oneida County Correctional Facility on $35,000 cash bail.

The investigation has been turned over to the DA's office and the victim has been offered counseling through the Child Advocacy Center.
