Town of Hastings to attempt mosquito spraying Friday evening
OSWEGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Town of Hastings has pushed back plans to hold aerial spraying once again.
Officials are now planning to spray for mosquitoes Friday around 7 p.m. and head back on Monday to cover the Town of West Monroe.
On Wednesday, Oswego County health officials changed their minds about aerial spraying. A new case of EEE prompted the health director to order spraying county wide to fight the spread of mosquito-borne diseases. However, there's no word on when that will take place.
