ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- One person was injured following a crash involving a car and a bus in DeWitt.

Police say the car was turning onto East Genesee Street just after 3 p.m. Thursday when it was hit by a bus.

The roof and door of the car had to be removed to get the 19-year-old driver out. That person was taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

No one on the bus was injured.

Police say no tickets are being issued at this time, but the crash is still under investigation.
