ROME, N.Y. -- A car accident in Rome on Sunday morning left two cars totaled, but nobody was seriously injured. The crash occurred on Route 69 when a car rear-ended another vehicle that was waiting to turn into its driveway.
The stopped vehicle went skidding across the road, and flipped over once it came to the grass. Police said the other driver claims she didn't see the turning vehicle until it was too late to stop. State Police said the accident is still under investigation.
