Police arrest woman on drug and traffic charges following crash
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. – A Rome woman is facing drug charges following a car crash. The New Hartford Police Department responded to a crash on State Route 8 around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police say Brooke Bullen, 32, had to be pulled from her vehicle after she was found semi-conscious behind the wheel. Police also say they found two syringes, heroin and marijuana inside the vehicle.
Bullen was taken to St. Elizabeth Hospital for a possible head injury, but she was later released.
Police say she was not under the influence at the time of the crash, but was arrested on multiple drug charges and traffic violations.
