UTICA, N.Y. -- Two Utica men accused of murder in the 2011 shooting death of Anthony Garner rejected plea deals in Oneida County Court Monday. The prosecution offered Octavius Garrett and Dominique Cook an unspecified plea deal in August.

Both men face charges of second degree murder and criminal possession of a weapon in the second and third degree.

Cook and Garrett are due back in court later this month. Their trial is expected to begin in November.
