SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and attempted robbery.

Police say Shakeem Moore was one of two men who shot and killed Tavorn Hunter, 27, on South State Street in October of last year. They say Moore and Derek Williams were attempting to rob Hunter after a drug deal.

Williams pleaded guilty to his involvement back in January.

Moore will be sentenced in October and faces 17 years in prison.
