CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Cayuga County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two men in connection with multiple burglaries.

Deputies say Ryan Durkee, 19, and Jeffrey Janack, 47, are responsible for three burglaries that happened in August in the town of Sempronius. They say Durkee and Janack stole items such as power tools, generators and electrical wiring from properties on Dresserville Road, Poverty Lane and Franklin Road. Some of the stolen goods were recovered, but an estimated several hundred dollars worth of tools is still missing.

The two men have been charged with three counts of felony burglary. This is still under investigation and if anyone has any information, you are asked to contact Detective Brian Schenck at (315) 253-3545.
