FORT DRUM, N.Y. -- A group of soldiers who spent the last year overseas have returned home.

Twenty-six members of the 7th Engineer, 33rd Financial Management Company were honored on post and then immediately went into the arms of friends and family.

These 10th Sustainment Brigade soldiers are responsible for the finances of war, making sure everyone has what they need and is ready for what lies ahead.

"We actually provide all the money that supports all the war fighters. That's everything from contracts to water, all the things that happen in the background. Everything that you do on the battlefield has to be purchased from somehow some way. Financial soldiers provide that service," said Capt. Jose Beltre.

Soldiers say being home on September 11th is an honor for what it represents and makes the return that much more memorable.
