Man arrested on federal drug charges
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- A Special Investigations Unit and the FBI have made a drug arrest in Binghamton. Brian Hime, 35, is accused of selling large amounts of heroin and crack cocaine.
During a federal search warrant of his home on Liberty Street, investigators found six ounces of suspected cocaine, a bottle of suspected steroids, about $3,400, a rifle, handgun ammunition and narcotics paraphernalia.
Hime is charged federally with engaging in a narcotics conspiracy. If convicted, he faces a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of life in prison.
