WATERTOWN, N.Y. -- Multiple agencies in Jefferson County have arrested a man on drug charges. Authorities say they arrested Hardik Patel, 20, at the Relax Inn on Washington Street in Watertown during a search warrant of the owner's room.

Officials found 3.5 ounces of crack and powder cocaine, about $4,000 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Patel was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

The investigation is ongoing.
