POMPEY, N.Y. -- It was a close race for Pompey Justice, with votes being collected for the Conservative, Independence and Republican primaries.

Ralph Cognetti won both the Republican and Conservative lines by a slim margin. He beat out John Voninski in the Republican primary with just under 80 votes.

Voninski did take the Independence line with 22 votes to Cognetti's seven.
