Woman accused of stealing from college student
ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- DeWitt Police have arrested the woman they say has been demanding money from passing motorists.
Dena Phoenix, 45, has been charged with petit larceny for an alleged incident in early August. She's accused of taking money from a college student and police don't think that's the only time she's done it.
Police have received numerous calls saying a woman approached their vehicles and demanded money.
