STEUBEN, N.Y. -- An Oneida County woman is charged after being involved in a one-car crash in the town of Steuben. Sheriff's Deputies said Barbara Carey, 49, was driving on North Steuben Road just after 8:00 p.m. on Saturday when she last control of her vehicle while trying to avoid hitting a deer, then hit several trees on the side of the road.
