BATH, N.Y. -- Police catch a Steuben County man following a short foot chase in Bath. Authorities said Joshua Bailey, 23, was arrested at his home following the chase Friday, which involved both village and State Police.
Bailey is charged with first degree burglary and second degree robbery for a June home invasion in Bath. He's also charged with resisting arrest after police said he struggled with officers as he was taken into custody.
According to authorities, Bailey has three outstanding warrants against him, including one for aggravated harassment in Rochester, a probation warrant in Steuben County, and a bench warrant for petit larceny. Bailey was arraigned and sent to Steuben County Jail with no bail on the probation warrant and $100,000 bail on the home invasion charges.
