BROOME COUNTY, N.Y. -- People in Broome County and the city of Binghamton will have a better idea of where their communities are headed tonight. County Executive Debbie Preston will deliver her first budget presentation since taking office in January.

Preston will present her budget before the county legislature at the County Office Building at 4 p.m. Her plan will be closely looked at going forward as she is running for a full, four-year term in office against Democrat Tarik Abdelazim in November.

At 5:30 p.m., Binghamton Mayor Matt Ryan will take to the city council chambers to unveil his budget for the city.

Both presentations are open to the public, and YNN will have crews at both locations.
