SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A unique new attraction coming to Destiny USA is slowly starting to take shape, although upside down.

Wonderworks is a amusement park-style entertainment venue that is being constructed on the third floor of the mall. It's actually the first one to be built in the Northeast and just one of five in the country.

A variety of exhibits and demonstrations will be spread out over 40,000 square feet, including a bubble lab, 4D motion ride and laser tag.

Destiny USA officials say a great part about many of the exhibits is the educational aspect.

"We call it edu-tainment. Very exciting. It's a lot of fun. You may not even realize that you are being educated, but when you walk out, you'll have a great experience and realize that you've learned a lot walking out," said Sarah Wallace, Destiny USA team member.

The construction should be complete by early November. There is no word yet on how much it'll cost to get in, but we should know more in the coming weeks.
