AUBURN, N.Y. -- Crews battled an early morning fire in Auburn. It started just before 6 a.m. at a two-family home on Fitch Avenue in the city.
It took firefighters nearly two hours to get it under control and we're told there is extensive damage throughout. Fire officials say it started on the first floor, but they are still trying to find the exact cause.
No one was seriously hurt, but a firefighter was taken to Auburn Community Hospital for evaluation because he was having trouble breathing.
