SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Members of local law enforcement will be honored tonight at the Syracuse Police Department's annual Medal Award Ceremony. 28 officers will be recognized for their outstanding performances on the job.

The event is sponsored by the Syracuse Police Benevolent Association.

The public is invited to attend. The ceremony starts at 6:30 p.m. at the Summit Federal Credit Union auditorium on East Genesee Street.
