UTICA, N.Y. -- A Liverpool man is going back to prison following a string of criminal acts dating back nearly 30 years. Ronald Longale, 55, was sentenced to six and a half years in prison.

He was found to be in possession of three shotguns back in February 2011. Longale was not allowed to possess any firearms as he was on supervised release from prison.

The previous felonies include attempted sale of a controlled substance in 1981 and 1987, DWI in 1991, criminal possession of stolen property in 1999, and burglary in 2005.
