State Police investigator charged with DWI
ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A State Police investigator has been charged with DWI after a crash in Oneida County. State Police say Richard Mody, 36, of Utica was driving his personal car in the Town of Trenton early Saturday morning when he hit a guardrail and a culvert.
He was taken to St. Elizabeth's Hospital where he is being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Mody is a 15-year veteran with the State Police and is assigned to the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona. The Associated Press reports Mody is suspended without pay.
